We arrive this Sunday for our first ever trip to Jamaica. I read on another post that road construction has started and the drive is awful. Has anybody made the drive recently? Is it bad enough that I need motion sickness meds? How long does the trip normally take?

On another topic, any last minute advice or tips? We are bringing insulated cups, lots of sunscreen, and some bug spray.

First timers heading down in October and curious about the bar and jacuzzi in the AN area. How big are they? Are they crowded? Does the bar serve food or only drinks? Anyone have pictures of the area (without people)?
