!THIS IS PURELY TO RELAY INFORMATION AND NOT TO DEBATE ON CHLOE'S CHARACTER!
Thomas Astruc made some tweet today in relation to Chloe and more specifically the decision of removing her from the show and replacing her with the chopped trio.
Seemingly from what i could understand as a french speaker it was a decision made in reaction to the echo chamber around her character specifically people wanting her to get a redemption despite it clearly not being the plan for her character.
So it was more of the writer not feeling like it was worth it to keep her around and give her storyline if in the end the consensus was that she should have been redeemed.
At least that's what i could gather from it.
So i guess to all Chloe fan out there she is most likely not reprising a main role anytime soon.
Edit: Please don't use this post to talk about Astruc thank you.
I was rewatching Pixelator and i totally forgot that Hawkmoth could hurt his Akumatized villain back then.
I guess they just stopped using it because it seemed too violent? Honestly kinda bummed out they didn't keep it.
Even in the only episode he uses it in it's underutilized since he let Pixelator make a deal with Ladybug WHEN SHE LOST.
