I’m currently trying to find a job while in school. Unfortunately my classes fall in between shift changes and kind of mid day. This next semester I’m unavailable Tuesday/thursday 10am-2pm and mondays 3-5 I’ve applied to a handful of jobs and have done multiple interviews and no one is willing to work with my schedule. I also don’t think my school schedule is the most difficult. I mentioned this in another community and everyone is telling me to do overnight shifts but I know myself and I know that’s not going to work out for me. I find it so discouraging and I’m questioning whether I should just find a decent job and come back to college at a later time. I’ve interviewed for Texas Roadhouse, wingers and Olive Garden and they weren’t willing to work with my schedule. I even applied to a local coffee shop that’s open till 12 am and they also don’t want to work with my schedule (they wanted part time night shifts 😐) im also willing to work my school schedule around a job during the spring semester and moving forward just not the fall semester coming up as I applied to these courses months ago and they fill up quick. I’m just at a lost. Any advice is appreciated!

Side note: I’ve posted this in many communities and got no comments besides on one. So I thought this community might help 🤷‍♀️

I’ve applied to a handful of jobs and have done multiple interviews and no one can work with my college schedule. I’ve tried serving shift interviews at Texas Roadhouse, wingers and Olive Garden. I’ve tried two local coffee shops. And any reatil has not reached back out. I’m unavailable Monday 3-5, Tuesday and thursdays 10-2 and Wednesday 10-12 I’m willing to work weekends and holidays. it’s kind of discouraging that no one will work with my schedule. I’m also okay with working my college classes around my work schedule for the spring semester and moving forward. Any help is appreciated!!
