AITAH For Wanting To Eat Before I Took Trashcans Out?

I would like to preface that my stepdad has an everyday habit of seeking me out to do stuff instead of my siblings. If I am ever in the middle of something that will be quick to finish and ask him to wait, I basically get slandered. He doesn't just berate or yell at me. He uses what he has left of his lungs and explodes.

Anyways, on with what happened:

I had just gotten back from school like 30 minutes ago. It's exam week, so I'm a little stressed. I rest for about 20-ish minutes before getting food because I'm a church and I'm hungry of course. I haven't ate in nearly four hours and before that I didn't eat at all. I start reheating some leftovers for like 1:30.

Suddenly, my stepdad comes through the door, takes off his shoes, yada yada, into the kitchen. First thing he says, “Hey... can you take both of the trash cans back?” While I have like 20 seconds left and am hungry asf. He says nothing else and had just gotten home less than a minute ago. I say, “Bruh, I've got food.” He knows damn well if I didn't say no that I'm still going to do it. I just wanted food, gee lord.

While getting my food out after those 20 seconds he says, “I feel like you could be back by now.” The fuck I could. I would have to put shoes on, go across the driveway, and steer both trashcans that are nearly the same size as me back. I don't understand why he couldn't just let me eat my small amount of food for about 5 minutes and then do it.

After this, he says “Okay,” in a I'm-so-fucking-pissed-at-you-right-now way and then stomped outside and did it himself.

My mom saw that I was upset when I sat on the couch and asked what was wrong. I told her. She told me that he was right and that I should've just done it. I explained to her that her own explanation of me taking 20 minutes to eat was absurb (I ate my food in 4 minutes) and that everyone else e

in this house would have done it if their food was literally right in front of them.

I guess the thing that actually made me upset is that this is his repeating trait of making me do everything he doesn't want to do and not making any of my other siblings do it + the fact that he himself would have ate food before doing it. Mind you, I have great pattern recognition. That's something that came back in one of those abilities test and I was well above average. If you knew him, you'd understand this more. I have no doubts that he is an overall asshole because he is, I just want to know if I'm the asshole in this situation since I can't comprehend being problematic for doing something he himself and everyone else in my family would do and have previously have done. I need clarity. And I apologize if I am an obvious asshole and I should understand that.
