iPhone 12 keeps turning volume down even though the slider remains at max volume
Ever since one of the updates a while back, the volume on my iPhone 12 will turn down, some times in multiple stages until it's barely audible, despite the volume slider still showing as high, or even at max. It seems like this coincides with my camera seeing me or my eyes. Often if I listen to music to avoid the risk of it turning down I have to turn my iPhone over so the front camera is covered. The apps most affected are Apple Music and YouTube. It doesn't do this when on headphones, only when playing out of the phone's speaker
I have tried seemingly everything to fix this. I've turned off "volume limit", "reduce loud sounds", "reduce loud audio" in headphone safety, selected don't allow in the screen time settings for "reduce loud audio" and "speaker volume limit".
Is there anything else I can try? This has been driving me crazy for months now 😭
