I’m looking at picking up a domino, but I’m trying to decide if I want the 700 or 500. From what I can tell the 700 will do all of the sizes with the but adapter. But the size of it is worrying me, I plan on use my it from anything to 3/4” stock all the way up to doors. For any of you that have the 700 does size make it difficult to use on smaller stock?

Update: follow up question what would a gently used 700 be worth, I’m thinking $800 since there’s no warranty(I don’t think the festool warranty transfers?)

Somehow Bermuda has infiltrated about 25% of my front yard, I have small areas in my backyard as well. The remainder of yard I have been trying to maintain kbg/tall fescue/rye and its does reasonably well. I don’t have an irrigation system, and I have a few large trees as well that provide good shade. My dilemma is, do I let the Bermuda take over the rest of the way and just give up on the turf grass? I’m in the transition zone, so we have really hot summers/fall till about October, it starts warming up around March. What are the drawbacks of Bermuda?

I have a carrier a/c heat pump and yesterday it would not kick on, it’s been raining a lot I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it.

So I thought maybe it’s the capacitor but that’s been replaced 2 years ago. So I go out pull the power connector and take the panel off. About a minute into it I hear 2 loud clicks. I continue to check the capacitor for mushrooming it looks fine. I didn’t check it with a multi meter though, I then go to put the connector back so I can check incoming voltage with my multimeter and as soon as I do it kicks on.

Any ideas what could have happened? It looks like a pretty simple system, it has 1 capacitor, a board and contactor.

I’m going to be painting my garage before setting up my sim, and the room doubles as my woodworking shop. My garage has 2 windows for ambient light, anyone have any recommendations for wall color?
