I think I remember seeing Deltarune theory/discussion from way back when (like before chapters 3 and 4) about Kris, Susie and Ralsei being the Patience, Perseverance and Kindness SOULs. Though I doubt it’s entirely true besides Kris possibly being the Patience SOUL at some point pre-possession (because Aqua exists) (also there’s also this one line of dialogue from Gerson about Susie after the Hammer of Justice fight that mentions perseverance but right now there’s more Kris = Patience SOUL evidence.) I thought it‘d be fun to swap everyone’s outfits around. For this one, I drew Susie and Seth with their outfits swapped! Eventually I’ll also draw Kris and Aqua (considering there’s a canon sprite of Kris with Aqua’s outfit) and Ralsei and Green.

Dialogue:

Susie: God, I’ve never looked nerdier… (Also what the HELL is this prescription…?)

Seth: Your wardrobe is rather…violent. I feel as if this outfit is tearing me to shreds…

Though it may be a good tactical move to have someone more intimidating on our teams.

(or perhaps if I dressed like this more, I can finally get Aqua to listen to me…?)

When it comes to making human SOUL designs, I'm either nervous they look too unoriginal or they are so unique that they feel too out of character. I've mainly been sharing them on discord, but I feel like I should share them here now.

(Also, I pixelated one of the Aqua drawings because it's spoilers for my AU, in which i tried to pump as many Deltarune Seth/Aqua parallels as possible.)

Anyways, here's the descriptions for them because my drawing is full of spelling errors and for some reason the Determination font on my computer decided it was gonna commit a dessappearance:

(PPuT) Seth

Full Name: ****** Seth P.

Birthdate: April 5th, 202X

- 14 years old

- closeted nonbinary (agender?)

- prefers they/them pronouns but is scared to

tell anyone in fear of being made fun of.

- Wear baggy clothes to appear more androgynous;

something their peers and family make fun of

them for.

- Has monocular intermittent exotropia (eye condition where one or both eyes (in Seth's case, only one), can turn outwards sometimes. (i hope i represent this accurately...)) and astigmatism.

- Has goofy ahh nerd teeth they kinda hate.

- Needs braces but never got them.

- Messy notetaker

- Has a phone, but doesn't dare use it for more than calling/texting family and taking photos

- Owes someone at their school $5, but their parents cut their allowance.

- One of the only students at their school that

willingly reads books.

- Picked on at school by classmates for wanting to learn, and not cheat their way out of learning, causing them to view their classmates as stupid and inferior.

- Constantly judged/criticized by their parents, causing them to become very critical of others.

- Never taken seriously by others

- Has no friends besides their little sister, Aqua

Reason for climbing Mt. Ebott/entering the underground: Humans were trying to slowly forget the existence of monsters, especially after what happened to one of the children (Chara) (known at the 201X incident) and most monster history taught on the surface was biased to praise humans as the good guys.

Fascinated by what happened to the first fallen human, and worried for the decline in human intellectualism, Seth decided they were going to explore the underground for as the ultimate school project, and share their studies with the world.

Full Name: Aquamarine P.

Birthdate: January 3rd, 202X

- 7 years old

- female (she/her)

- Has ADHD and dyscalculia

- Very agile.

- Has a cataract from an eye injury (the injury kinda lead her to have a fascination for sharp objects.)

(that, and unlimited screen access when she was a

toddler before being banned from using electronics

unsupervised.)

- Needs a haircut, but doesn't want one. (I may make her eyes more visible in future art of her tho because I heard once that fully blind and maybe even partially blind people having their eyes covered can be a bad/offensive trope and I don't want to upset anyone. I just traced the main Aqua and Seth drawings from a sketch I made a couple of weeks ago before I went with this headcanon.)

- Didn’t know that there are two shades of blue, until

Seth told her when she was 3 and a half, and was genuinely shocked to hear that Aquamarine was a shade of blue. (baby's first mid-life crisis)

- Has a toy box full of toys and costumes in her room.

- Shirt is a hand-me-down from Seth.

-Her ribbon was a present from

them for their 5th birthday.

- Not taking her sneakers off (until she has to because

her and Seth live in a no-shoes inside the house home)

- Knows Seth's preferred name because they would sometimes use that name when playing pretend with her. She doesn't knows that it's their older sibling's preferred name though.

- The favorite child. (Ngl, I kinda feel bad for putting the "harder to deal with" part in there...)

- Parents call her Aquamarine. Seth just calls her Aqua.

- Has been struggling in school ever since Seth stopped helping her with her homework (Parents can afford a tutor but wont get her one)

- Not allowed to use electroic devices unsupervised

- Did have one friend before, but she moved away. Now she only has Seth.

- Most children are weirded out by her

- Doesn't fully comprehend death

- Is curious about what she doesn't understand

Reason for climbing Mt. Ebott/entering the underground: Was at the library with Seth when they snuck out to go to Mount Ebott. Aqua simply followed them. Seth was too far ahead to notice.

I don't think I can make them nerdier. I dare you guys to try making them nerdier.

For 1st Image: Seth and Aqua swap items. Seth is a tad bit nervous about Aqua reading their notebook. They can't see what she's looking at and they have a quite a bit of personal research on there revolving around a certain avian genius... Fortunately, Aqua can't understand any of it.

For 2nd Image: Aqua discovers how squishy Seth's face is. Seth discovers how sharp Aqua's fingernails are (like little knives).

I don't draw Berdly that much, but I wanted to draw dreth Seth again so here's a probably unrealistic timeline where the flowers get to live as humans in the light world and Berdly and Seth meet each other and they go to school together and go to the Sadie Hawkman dance together.

I am totally happy for them and totally don't wish I was Berdly at all and that it should be me instead of him... /hj

Based off some ideas people gave me on discord. Not my best art/sprite animation (I forgot how circular their face is...), but I'm still proud of the outfit, because I wanted to draw them in something cute :3

I asked a similar question on the Ralsei sub long time ago. Hopefully I didnt make any spelling error this time.

Didn't know weather to give Aqua black hair or blue hair to match the hair color outline thing that Frisk and I think Chara has. I was kinda nervous Seth would turn out kinda weird, mainly because their sprite is much more detailed, which clashes with Undertale's simpler graphics, but I love how they turned out.

I humiliated myself on Discord today because the images wouldn't load on there. I hope they load okay here.

Fell free to leave any constructive criticism on there or any suggestions. I'd especially like some last name suggestions (My headcanon is that UT!Seth and Aqua are half siblings, but idk if that would work or not because of the order of the seven human souls.)

I couldn't 100% copy the Berdly statue sprite, but I think that just makes him look slightly more jacked.

Not my best shading, but I think Seth turned out okay. I drew them slightly different from my normal style because I wanted this to look like something out of the game, just like my other Deltarune sprite edits.

Ignore the fact that the colors are a tad bit off. I haven't worked with alcohol markers in a while.

I like to headcanon that Seth also wears the prettiest eyeshadow ever under their glasses just because. (prob because Ralsei does it too even though I don't think they ever meet until chapter five. I just like Ralsei)

I also headcanon that Seth has astigmatism because of the "seeing double" that Seth's glasses do when Aqua and Seth do their team attack pattern during our first battle with them. I know that's not really how astigmatism works (it causes blurred vision, not double vision), but it was the closest bad eyesight analogy I can find and I also have astigmatism and Seth is so me fr fr so yeah.

Just some headcanons. I really wanna wear eyeshadow so badly...

Let me know if I missed any other common ways people draw Seth. This is just what I come across the most. I personally consider my version of them to be kinda sprite accurate but also kinda diverge a little (^(e.x. I give them an extra tuft of hair)).
