Best ultrawide for work & gaming - non-oled, >165hz, <1ms ?
Hi, I want to update my setup to a clean single monitor - I may decide to use one of my old dual monitors above but will decide that later.
For now I'm looking for a monitor that can support my work & gaming. I've tried to do some research but getting overwhelmed at the options, originally I loved the LG 5K2K monitors, but the oled screen wouldn't work with the risk of burn in from my job. I then liked the idea of a Dell monitor with a built in KVM, but the 140hz max seems like a downgrade on my current monitor even if it is a small one. Finally I looked at the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 but the size and price both seemed a bit big.
Ideally looking for a wide/ultrawide monitor with these specs to meet my needs and a be a good investment going forward.
- Non-oled to reduce burn in
- >165hz & <1ms response time
- 2k + resolution to at least match current monitor (HP X27Q)
- Inbuilt KVM would be nice but not needed
