Pretty impressed with the barrina t5 light bars.

I'm only utilizing one shelf ATM the others are turned off and yes I'll eventually straighten them out I just have to re adjust where the lights are to the magnet strips are once it starts to get cold out all my succulents are coming inside.

Had to do an emergency repot for my dad's thanksgiving cactus

It fell off its plant shelf, and the pot legitimately disintegrated as it hit the floor 🤣 I'm pretty sure the pot was like 30-40 years old, but my dad got a cutting from my grandparents' one that's like almost 100 years old. I put in a before picture of it sitting on the shelf as well. I trimmed a lot off of it and finally stood it up straight. Over the years, it just got too top-heavy and started tipping until it was on its side.

I put this together as a memorial plant to my recently passed grandma

One of the things she loved was sea turtles and she loved plants in general, so I bought a variegated Victor Kane cluster, chopped the heads off, and waited for the ends to callus over. I think it turned out really great. I also replanted the stems in a separate pot to let them grow pups.

My cream stones and purple delights are doing pretty well

I had a scare with my delights I found a single mealy bug on them. Sprayed TF out of him with dead bug and isopropyl alcohol 70% have not seen any mealybugs in a week so far fingers 🤞.

Update on my parents Hoya after a major trim and new soil.

So last time I posted I had given my parents hoya new soil and a badly needed trim well as of today there are like 7 new growth points starting especially at the main stem I also planted one of the many props back into the pot that I cut off from the main plant as well the others will eventually go back into the pot to fill it out.

Just put together my shelf and put my sun netting over it for my succulents.

Bought this outdoor indoor plant shelf so when fall comes I can just move it inside for the winter and yes the sun net is 30% cost me like 50 bucks for everything not bad tbh.

Found mealybugs on my new jade

Unfortunately when I was putting my plant back near the window last night I saw the dreaded fuzzy bugs 😭 when I re potted I looked through them both with a fine comb and magnifying 🔍 to make sure they're were no bugs I think I caught it early enough I sprayed last night and I went through the leaves with a tooth pick to get all the bugs out and after I sprayed again.

Well she got a long overdue change of soil and some TLC

So basically my mom acquired this hoya from my grandma aka her mother from an estate sale she was doing I have no clue how old this hoya actually is but omg when I tell you I had to use a chisel to get the dirt apart from the sides of the pot and to break it apart it was long over do unfortunately the hoya needed to be trimmed so now I have a tone of props to replant back into the pot to make it look full again I included what my parents hoya used to look like and the after it's trim plus all the props too now I'm 33 and iv remembered having this plant since I was really little and it's never bloomed so I'm hoping it might actually bloom.
