Spent a few days doing ground research around Charminar and Laad Bazaar. Sharing everything I noted down.

Plain lac bangles — ₹30 to ₹50 per dozen. Hawker stalls near Gulzar House are cheaper than the fixed shops inside Laad Bazaar. I spotted the exact same box set going for ₹50 at one stall and ₹100 at the stall right next to it. Same product. Same street.

Custom bangles made in front of you — ₹300 to ₹1,000 per pair. Catalogs available. Sizes made on the spot.

Buying more than 2 dozen — they negotiate.

Start at Gulzar House — Charminar is right opposite. Walk toward the monument — hawkers on both sides selling bangles, glassware, clothes.

Once you reach Charminar — go RIGHT first. That's Laad Bazaar. Go here while you still have your bags. Walk the entire stretch — don't buy at the first shop. Come back to Charminar after.

Then go LEFT — ticket counter is there. ₹25 for Indians to climb to the top. 360 degree view of Old City. Sort your bags before going up — most people figure this out too late.

After climbing — Nimrah Café. Irani chai and Osmania biscuit. Non-negotiable.

Then Makkah Masjid — one of the largest mosques in India. Bricks in the central arch came directly from Mecca. There are bag rules here — worth knowing before you walk in.

Continue to New Laad Bazaar — clothes and footwear. Walk till the very end. End at Khilwat — left turn leads to Chowmalla Palace.
