Non-CS background, bachelors in mechanical engineering and entering in the OMSCS program this fall. Folks in Canada/US who have come from a tech product manager pathway, has anyone had success with landing PM or PM adjacent roles in the SC space after doing OMSCS? If so, what roles did you target and succeed with?

I have been working on a startup for the last year and it's now at a stage where we can start marketing it. Wondering if someone has been in a similar situation and how they dealt with disclosure of a business they'd been working on the side?

I am currently a C12, working in Risk & Control [technology]. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
