Watched first episode of Impact in 20 years-pretty good! What did you guys think?

So as the title says, this week's Impact was the first I've seen in twenty years. I really, really enjoyed it. The X Division match was insane, the two ladies matches were pretty fun and everything else was pretty entertaining.

I'd been staying away from TNA because the consensus online was that it's been a pretty dreadful period. With Dreamer leaving and Slammiversary seeming to go over well I wanted to see how things look - and I'll definitely be watching next week.

I was wondering what regular TNA fans thought of this episode? Have things improved, are they looking up? Or was the decline exaggerated and it was always this fun to watch?

How good was Jim Cornette's Ohio Valley Wrestling?

I've been watching Ohio Valley Wrestling the last few months and been really enjoying it. The matches aren't always great because some of the talent are very green, but there's enough good matches that I can get into it.

And I find the booking to be mostly fun and enjoyable, with stories building week on week towards a logical and satisfying payoff at the PLE.

Anyway I was listening to Jim Cornette on YouTube and was watching the bit surprised that he spoke so badly about the promotion now. He HATES the booking, he doesn't seem to think much of the talent and he basically had nothing good to say.

So for anybody who watched OVW when Cornette was there, how good was the show?

I know a lot of big stars started off there but I'm more interested in the booking and entertainment value of the show while he was there?

I suspect that Jim and my preferences for a wrestling show might be far apart, but I'm curious to know what other people thought about his era of OVW? What were the highlights?

Watched my first episode of POWER Rr-it's great!

I was a wrestling fan until WCW died and then the federation made a complete mess of the Invasion storyline.

This year I got back into it thanks to Vince Russo writing for JCW. I soon expanded out to AAA and OVW, which are you lot of fun.

This week I discovered NWA is free to watch on the Comet website so I have it a shot and I absolutely loved the show.

I love how the show is so short but they squeeze in so many matches, vignettes, promos. They've got some great characters and the show doesn't take itself too seriously. I can't wait for next week.

Is POWERRR usually this good?

Hi all, I'm wanting to get into CMLL, I'm seeing that they have a paid membership in order to watch events on the YouTube channel.

I'm thinking of subscribing but I looked at the live shows and it seems like they're doing at least 3 shows per week.

Are these TV tapings that follow on from each other in terms of ongoing storylines or are only some of them necessary viewing?
