Anyone else sick of the cinematic promos/segments?

Since the D'Amore era TNA has done a lot of promos/segments/bits with overly cinematic filming but to me is doesn't fit the vibe of the product. It kinda worked for D'Amore because he heavily focused on character work so it fit the vibe at the time, but current TNA has barely focused on character/gimmicks/creativity so seeing these cinematic style vignettes/promos seem so out of place and too try hard.

I feel like if they went with a more candid style like mid 2000s Paparazzi Productions style and reserved the cinematic filming for Rosemary/ Demon Bunny and Broken Hardy (and maybe The Righteous, i think candid would be better and more creepy for them) then I think it would compliment the show more.

Watched first episode of Impact in 20 years-pretty good! What did you guys think?

So as the title says, this week's Impact was the first I've seen in twenty years. I really, really enjoyed it. The X Division match was insane, the two ladies matches were pretty fun and everything else was pretty entertaining.

I'd been staying away from TNA because the consensus online was that it's been a pretty dreadful period. With Dreamer leaving and Slammiversary seeming to go over well I wanted to see how things look - and I'll definitely be watching next week.

I was wondering what regular TNA fans thought of this episode? Have things improved, are they looking up? Or was the decline exaggerated and it was always this fun to watch?

What exactly is TNA trying to be in 2026?

For years, TNA has shifted between being WWE's biggest alternative, a developmental destination, a nostalgia brand, and an independent-style promotion. Now, with the WWE partnership, its TV deal, and recent roster changes, it still feels like the company's identity and long-term vision aren't clearly defined.

Is TNA becoming a place where former WWE stars and NXT talent come to rebuild or gain experience? Or can it establish itself as a truly independent promotion with its own identity, separate from WWE's influence?
