AEW star believes Mick Foley should wrestle again if he wants to

> AEW star Darby Allin recently discussed Mick Foley and the potential for the former WWF Champion to make his in-ring return for All Elite Wrestling. Foley last took part in a match in 2012 as part of the Royal Rumble, while his last singles match took place back for TNA in 2010, when he faced Ric Flair in a Last Man Standing match.

> Speaking on the Mark Hoke Show, Allin said that if the 61-year-old feels he needs to make a return to the ring that he should be able to, referencing how Sting had a successful run in AEW when many people believed he was done:

> “It’s like Sting. If he feels that the final chapter is unwritten, there shouldn’t be anything stopping him. Everybody told Sting, ‘There is nothing else you can do in wrestling. You retired in 2014 with a neck injury. Why would you come back?’ There was something in his spirit, a question that he had to answer. If Mick Foley has that inside of him, by all means, do it,”

MVP Says He Could Have His Final Match Next Year: ‘My Passion For Actually Getting In The Ring And Having That Match Isn’t What It Used To Be’

> On the latest episode of Marking Out with MVP & Dwayne Swayze, the wrestler talked about his wrestling future.

> “Let’s be real. I’m 52. I don’t want to sprint back and forth across the ring. I don’t want to get powerbombed and chokeslamed. I don’t want to do that. I don’t take booking for matches anymore. I’m not officially retired. But that’s coming. I’m thinking probably next year I will have my final match. I’m pretty confident. My final match is coming soon.”

> Later, he talked about not having the same explosiveness in the ring that he used to.

> “Physically, my ability to wrestle at a high level is deteriorating because of time. This is father time. I don’t have the explosiveness that I used to. Let me be real with you, I don’t have the desire.

Jim Ross acknowledges his career may be over with brain surgery on horizon

> Ross is pushing to work AEW’s All In event on August 30 at London’s Wembley Stadium. He noted that his contract expires some time this month and would thus need some kind of new negotiation. However, he acknowledged the possibility that his broadcasting career has possibly already ended.

> “I hope that my ending, my career ending, is planned. And so I don’t just show up one Wednesday night on Dynamite and say, ‘Well, I got some news for you folks, I’m done.’ That might sound cool and edgy, but I would like to be able to know that I’m leaving,” he said. “I think that’s important for my psyche. And I don’t know, maybe I’m looking at it wrongly, but in any event, that’s where I’m thinking — just have a good, clean ending.”

> “I don’t want to be done, but if Tony Khan said, ‘You know, JR, thanks for the efforts and thanks for being here and all that stuff.’ Then I’d have no problem with that. Because what else? How could I be such a greedy bastard and want more in my career than I’ve already received?”

> Janela said he’s not, then went on to share that current AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champion Megan Bayne told him that most of the time he does look like a crackhead.

> “Let’s get some facts out there. No one’s gonna care. I was never a drugs guy. Let’s get that out there right now. Megan (Bayne) said it best. She said, ‘Well, sometimes, Joey, you look like — actually, not sometimes, most of the time, in all your fcking Instagram pictures, you look like a f*cking crackhead. This is why people call you a crackhead because you make these crackhead faces.’” Janela continued, “Let’s get it out there right now, I do not smoke crack. I’ve never smoked crack. I’m sure it’s a wonderful feeling the first couple times you hit that crack pipe…”

> By the time AEW saw the video it was the day of the show and they didn't have time to make a new one.
