what are shelties personalities usually like?

i’m mostly more of a cat person, but i grew up with always multiple dogs and i pet sit somewhat regularly. i’ve pet sat a pair of shelties 3 times now and i really like them. i feel like if i were to get a dog at some point, they’d be a really good fit for me. they seem to have the more fun parts of dogs like trainability, liking to play little games, and being able to come along with you to different places, but they are way less overwhelming/overbearing then i find most dogs. they also definitely like to be pet but don’t seem to constantly insist on being in your personal space. these ones are a tad bit chubby and one is a little old though, so i don’t know if maybe that shifted their personalities or if these ones are just particularly good. what are they usually like?

what is the rarest animal/animals that are not necessarily endangered?

i’m curious about animals that are super rare, but not because their population was destroyed by habitat loss or hunting or anything, they just naturally have a very small population size and are pretty rare

i’m feeling confused about the line between closed and not closed practices

so there is things that are very obviously closed, like if i were to try and work with a vodou God as someone not apart of that culture that’d be very bad. what i get anxious about though are parts of practices where the lines are a bit more blurred

for example, voodoo dolls being closed but poppets in general being open. poppets are fine as long as you’re not making/using them in the voodoo/hoodoo practices do, but the information on what the differences are doesn’t really seem easily available. i’m sure this is on purpose to protect the practice from people with ill intentions which makes sense.

maybe it’s just because i have OCD but i get afraid to get into poppet magic or other similar ideas because how do i know i’m not accidentally doing it in one of the ways im not supposed to?
