Pings/lofted passes

I have been trying to get the bio mechanics of pinging the ball but it never works out, it always gets no height. I was wondering if for a ping/lofted pass you strike the very bottom of the ball or strike right below the center. I was also wondering if you follow through up or follow through to the side and do you lock you ankle when striking the ball for a ping

Goalkicks/longballs

I have been struggling to get good goal kicks. I am 15 and do lower body gym sessions but i feel like my technique is wrong. My goal kicks either float in the air with no distance or stay on the ground and get no height. I have been wondering if on goal kicks you point your toes fully down(aka lock your ankles) or don’t lock your ankles when you strike the ball for a goal kick to get good distance and height.
