Question: If Hajun can only be defeated by Habaki, how is it said that Mercurius defeated him on the Rea route, or that Magsarion can kill him?
Did this become a retcon from KKK to Avesta?

Is Magsarion overrated by his fans?
The Avesta volumes have recently been released, and we’ve been able to read the full story in a better way than before. But now that I’ve finished reading Avesta, I wanted to raise a question that’s been on my mind, and something I’ve noticed:
- Is Magsarion overrated, yes or no?
From what I’ve seen, he struggled a great deal to defeat Mitra, who is supposed to be the weakest Hadou Goddess. Furthermore, everything suggests that Muzan – who is his Hadou form – is much stronger than him, as he is his ‘evolution’ into a Hadou god.
With that in mind, I find myself wondering whether all the hype surrounding Magsarion isn’t just overestimation, given that Muzan appears to be more powerful, and on top of that, there’s also the fact that he’s weaker than Varhram.
That said, is Magsarion an overrated character, or have I got it wrong? If I’ve got it wrong, could you explain it to me? Or am I right, and is Magsarion actually weaker than his Hadou form (aka Muzan)?

Do you think the characters get stronger with each successive era – that is, 7th > 6th > 5th > 4th > 3rd > 2nd > 1st – or do they have different individual strengths, regardless of that?
I was chatting to a friend on a server, and he argued that: “With every Heaven change, the characters get stronger; therefore, the older the Heaven, the weaker its characters and gods are.”
He based his argument on the scan about Heaven’s Transcendence, and the one where Masada says: “Marie > Mercurius > Nerose > Muzan > Mithra”.
Do you think this is correct? If so, or if not, why?
One of the other arguments put forward was that Masada’s rankings and statements about strength only apply to “Pantheon”, and not to the rest of the works or in general, and that the characters’ strength varies depending on which Heaven they are in (one example they used was that characters from the 1st Heaven are weaker than they would be in the 7th Heaven, the Pantheon, which is where Masada’s ranking applies).
