looking for a good home for my cat

Hi, as the caption states, i am considering a new home for my cat. he is about 2 years old, his name is booger. I love this cat so much, i really do, he is my best friend, but recently life has thrown some curveballs at me. Booger is a very high maintenance, needy cat. hes got a lot of anxiety and has a problem with biting. he is obviously very young so he has a lot of energy, but he can also be equally as cuddly and sweet. I want nothing but the best for this little guy, which is why it absolutely crushes me to have to consider giving him up. it breaks my heart, but ive gotten to the point where i dont feel i am the best fit for him. Booger is primarily an indoors cat but loves to go outdoors. he gets very anxious around new people, and even more so around dogs. If there is any alternatives to giving him up for adoption i’d love to know, but its been putting strain on me and my partners relationship as well. I deal with depression and anxiety disorder myself, and so it’s just really hard. If you know anyone that booger would be the right fit for, please let me know! i’d also love any shelters where my boy will be okay. This is a very difficult post to write, so bear with me :,). Thank you.

Edit: booger is microchipped, has all his shots, and is fixed

are support groups a thing?

hi, as the caption states i was wondering if there was any type of support groups, specifically for mental health. I know group therapy hasn’t been a thing since pre-covid, but i was curious if anyone knows anything relevant or similar. I’m 24, and can’t afford therapy, and struggle with depression and loneliness. if there’s any type of affordable mental health aid available, groups or not, i’d love to know. thank you!

looking for work

Hi all, I just moved up here and am trying to find any work! I am 24 and am a fast learner, i come here to ask because ideally i’d love to find a more local spot to work! I was recently a barista for a few years, so i have plenty of experience in customer service and am pretty capable.

Elevator down

Hi all. As the caption says, my elevator has been down for weeks now, (since may 22nd) and I have tried just about everything to see what I can do. I have a huge problem though, I live on the 3rd floor of my apartment complex and have an injury in my leg that prevents me from using the stairs basically whatsoever. Despite this, I have to use the stairs every single day, multiple times a day. It’s only worsened my condition. Today, the pain got so bad I had to wear a leg brace. I have emailed my landlord several times, clearly stating I have injuries that make it extremely difficult to use the stairs. His response to said emails is exactly this, copied and pasted: “I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. It is likely that the elevator may be down for an extended period of time. “ this response is truly what sent me over the edge. As of may 22nd, he said the elevator repairman was “en route”. But it’s now June 10th of me typing this, with no update on the estimated time at all. I am moving next month, and have a lot of heavy furniture that is impossible for me to move down multiple flights of stairs
