Worked perfect, timing and color. But why was my break so small?! I packed about 30 grams of high quality granulated BP into it hoping for a huge break. Same as the lift charge (22.5 grams). I had a second shell with Nishiki Willow effect and the break was larger but still disappointing

First try at rolled stars not very many because most failed/were too small towards the end when they stopped picking up powder for whatever reason, I think I put too much isopropyl alcohol and lost patience

Will be supplementing with my own 3 inch shells. Doubling budget next year.

I know it's not the best value but it's wayyyy better than buying local in Utah

Panned the dirt that came off my flip flops after a rainy day at the construction site. This is what I found.

I find that a lot of gold bearing dirt flows right off the back while running. Maybe about 1/3 despite being careful, the hopper simply isn't long enough. I thought about putting a small catch at the back (in red) but this would also make sorting rocks more difficult. Any suggestions?
