Summer 2026 BAnQ timeline
Only one data point but perhaps it will help some of you.
Online request to BAnQ for a baptismal certificate: April 28th 2026
Payment requested and sent: August 4th 2026
Copy received on the west coast USA: August 17th 2026
So around 100 days from request to payment, 2 weeks from payment to receipt by regular mail. I mistakenly requested from Montreal, turns out the record was in Trois Rivieres, although I am guessing that added little or no time to this process.
