I’m a junior economics major at a non target (one of the smaller Claremont colleges). Had a lot of health issues and really wasn’t able to get internship experience my first two summers. Fortunately, I’m in a far better place today but realized just how much I missed out on.

I have a good GPA (3.85ish), have applied for accounting/audit roles but yet to hear back, and have a good amount of finance club experience, just nothing professional.

I’m just so lost, and would love advice.
-what’s my best bet for this summer?
-what’s my best bet for FT recruiting if nothing works out for an internship?
-is there a remote chance at IB at all?
-what sets me up best for buisiness school down the line for a “second chance”

Career services is genuinely terrible and we have few alumni in the field, so really hoping for some advice on here!

Just accepted an offer to join Bain SF as an intern this summer. Curious what the hours tend to be. Also, I’m curious whether the 90+% return offer rates are still typical?

Has anyone received a rejection yet? We were supposed to hear back by today and I’ve got nothing. I know some people got offers, though.

I interviewed for SF on 7/30. I’d imagine the bulk of acceptances are already out. Does anyone know if they’re still handing out borderline acceptances, or if today’s wave of results is likely all rejections.
