Rereading Sunlit Man after Wind and Truth

Not quite a year ago I joined this sub having gotten into the Cosmere through Tress. And then Sunlit Man and Yumi. Today I finished WaT and though I am not yet ready to talk about that (still processing!!! But I loved it so much) i also decided to reread sunlit man. Since I enjoyed it last year but also had no idea what he was taking about half the time.
Anyways. Spoiler here:

For people who read the books in a more sane order, did you know who Nomad was immediately? I feel like you would have…..

Demo video for my Rock Scooper

Thanks for all your love on my previous post. Wanted to make a video to show how it works. It’s a bit long and I have no desire to be a YouTube guy but enjoy.

Power Miners Rock Scooper

Posted this today. Manually operated for hoist and crowd (sticks go up and down, in and out) and it swings and of course it can move. If I may say so it fits in pretty well with your other Power Miners sets!

Power Miners Rock Scooper

I used to operate heavy machinery in an open pit coal mine. Shovels were the coolest (though not my favourite to run) and so I made a Power Miners version. I actually did a bunch of Star Wars / mining mashups but the reaction at large was kind of ??? No one really knew what to make of them I guess. But Power Miners was made for this kind of thing! Instructions are on Rebrickable but here’s some photos. Lots of play functions!

Speed built speeder

Does it still count as a speed build if it took 3 hours?
Started off with the ovals as a seed and turned into a sort of A-Wing inspired ship. I only had one engine pod on hand. Fits a minifig so long as it’s not wearing a helmet.
