Is anyone aware of any subs regarding AI music that are restricted? I want to to connect with other AI artists, see what they’re creating, learn about different workflows and how others are using the various tools out there. But every sub I find is filled with AI haters whose sole purpose is to shit on others using the tools.
Would love to find a sub that’s for AI artists and only AI artists if one exists.
On a number of occasions, I’ve attempted to mix and master my own Suno songs from the Suno stems (or by replacing the Suno drums with midi drums from Logic). But I’ve always been disappointed - which I’m sure is in large part due to my ability by also due to the bleed/messy way Suno did stem separation.
With the new advanced stem feature, which is essentially a clean generation of just the stem of the instrument, I want to give it another try. Has anyone had success doing this? If so, do you have any resources/tutorials on mixing and mastering (preferable in Logic) that you recommend?
I’m trying to make a folk/country/Americana style song, and no matter what I do Suno drops all instrumentation except for drums on 2 & 4 during the first half of my final chorus. I know it’s doing this for dramatic effect/contrast, but I don’t want it.
I’ve tried all kinds of positive tags (full band, driving beat, etc.) and negative tags (no halftime breakdown, no stomp clap, etc.), but it still does it every time. I even manually arranged and inserted a chorus from a previous section of the song at the end to demonstrate what I want - but when I make a cover, the stomp clap returns.
Any suggestions?
Suno has helped me explore lyric writing for the first time, and that has helped me work through some shit.
If anybody else out there is in a similar position, ignore the AI music haters. Keep writing even if no one listened.
