Question, without getting too political (if this is even possible on any Balkan sub)

I am visiting BL. And I saw these murals on a wall. I am very interested in history, though I know very little about Balkan history. Well that’s not completely true, I read a lot about the recent history.
These seem to be very important figures for Serbian history.
Could anyone tell me who these people are? And why they are so important for the national identity of RS?
