Using CGM to navigate lack of feeling body signals

Hi everyone!

I’m autistic and have adhd and struggle with something called interoception, where I don’t always feel when I’m hungry, thirsty, cold etc.

I’m slowly trying to incorporate tools to help me neglect myself less. I’ve been using the Oura Ring to help me with my sleep and it’s been really great. Instead of just feeling horrible and wondering why, I can now see when I have a sleep deficit. And then - oh wonder - I feel better when I take a nap. 😀

But my interoception is also bad when it comes to food. I sometimes just wanna eat 2 chocolate bars and then I’m thinking that I don’t have any self control.
But learning about interoception I can now confidently say that my biggest issue seems to be to eat at all when I’m hungry, because I can’t always read my hunger cues. So no wonder I need to eat chocolate in the evening if I’m starving myself the whole day.
I’ve become better with eating more regularly, but I feel like I need more external help.

So I’ve been considering buying a CGM (continuous glucose monitoring) device. I’m looking for something that can tell me in real time if I need to eat, and ideally if the meal should be carb/protein/fat heavy.
I’ve come across Lingo, Stelo and Ultrahuman M1, that have an app that seems to promise exactly this. However, as most are for people who just want to lose weight and optimi their nutrition, but maybe not people who struggle with executive dysfunction, I’ve been wondering if anyone on here has tried any CGM with 24/7 sensor and an app, and can share if it helped for the interoception issues, executive dysfunction and helped them to eat better and more regularly?
Btw I’m also insulin resistant, in case that’s relevant to know.

I would very much appreciate your help, thank you!

Hi everyone.

I have been OFFICIALLY subletting my old flat (in England)
My landlord is older and he gave it to me for a good monthly price so that I can manage his flat. In our contract it says that l'm responsible for furniture and smaller things like decorative things.
Which means that he'll stay responsible for the rest of the flat.

Yesterday we had water leak coming out of a socket in the kitchen. I contacted the landlord and he told me that it's not urgent and that he'll come done tomorrow. He said that the fuse is hazard proof and that it’s enough that it turns off the fuse box automatically when being exposed to water.

I then talked to some more people and everyone said that it's an emergency. My subtenants then called 999 to ask for advice and they said we need an emergency plumber and electrician asap.
My sub tenants contacted the landlord one more time (after I had spoken to him via email) and again he said, that it's not urgent and that in truth the fire department is just making "useless" drama.

I then decided to call the emergency plumber and electrician myself and they came within an hour to fix the issue. They said that it was dangerous and found several sockets soaking wet due to a faulty service valve. (Which became faulty after the landlord send his own plumber the day before to fix a leak in the toilet.)

Now I wonder if there was true danger or if the landlord was right and the plumber/electrician just said it was dangerous to make some money. Would it have been enough to just turn off the power for the night?

Am I safe to assume that the landlord will be responsible for covering the invoice or am I at "fault", because I called the workers without his consent?j
