Help me pls

My 22nd-day 4th-generation HIV test after the exposure was negative. Now it's been 60 days, and I've been experiencing symptoms like body aches, lower back pain, and my shoulders feel heavy whenever I walk or stand. I don't have pain in my shoulders, they just feel heavy. Based on this, do you think my 61-day 4th-generation HIV test is likely to be negative or positive?

62 days after exposure – 4th gen HIV test negative, condom used (not sure if it broke), still anxious. What are the chances it changes?

Hey everyone,

I had a single possible exposure on May 3rd. I was wearing a condom, but I’m not completely sure if it broke or not. I did notice my cum after, so I’m just a bit anxious about the situation. I did not take PEP and haven’t had any other exposures since.

I did a 4th generation HIV blood test at 22 days and it was negative. Now I’m at about 62 days (9 weeks) and I’m still really worried because I’ve been having symptoms like diarrhea, body aches, lower back pain, and feeling weak/heavy.

I’m stressed and thinking about HIV a lot, even though I know the condom was used. What are the chances a 4th gen test changes from negative at 22 days to positive at 62 days in a case like this?

Just looking for honest answers or reassurance.

4th gen HIV test at 22 days negative — what are my chances at 57 days?

Hey everyone,

I’m really anxious and could use some honest advice.

I had a possible exposure (vaginal sex) and I used a condom, but I’m not 100% sure if it stayed perfect or if it might’ve broken.

I did a 4th generation HIV blood test at 22 days, and it came back negative.

Now I’m planning to do another 4th gen test at 57 days (tomorrow) and I’m really stressed about what the result could be.

Given my situation:

•	Condom was used (not sure if it failed or not)

•	22-day 4th gen test was negative

•	No other exposures after that

What are the chances that my 57-day result will still be negative vs positive?

I’m really struggling with anxiety and just want a realistic idea of where I stand medically.

Really anxious about HIV after exposure, need advice

Hi everyone,

I’m really struggling with anxiety right now and I just need some advice or reassurance.

I had a sexual encounter on May 3rd (about 8 weeks ago). It was protected sex, and I remember seeing semen inside the condom after. The condom didn’t break or anything that I noticed.

Around 2–4 weeks after the exposure, I started feeling different symptoms and got really anxious. Looking back, I think a lot of it may have been anxiety-related, because the symptoms would come and go.

Now, at about 8 weeks after exposure, I feel like I might have swollen lymph nodes in my neck and groin, but I honestly don’t see anything obvious and they don’t really stand out clearly.

I also did a lab HIV blood test at 22 days after exposure, and it came back negative.

I’m really scared to do another test now because I’m afraid of the result. I keep overthinking everything and my anxiety is getting really bad.

Can someone please tell me:

•	Does this sound like HIV?

•	Is a negative 22-day lab test at least a good sign?

•	Could this just be anxiety making everything feel worse?

I just need some guidance because my mind is spiraling right now.
