Need help/verification from TITAN Noir owners regarding anti-RBE issue (Magenta tint)

Could anyone who owns the TITAN Noir Max please help me out with a quick test?

I backed the TITAN Noir Max via Kickstarter, but I've encountered a strange issue with my unit

When I turn the anti-RBE feature ON, areas with a specific brightness level show a noticeable magenta tint/line. When I turn the feature OFF, it is barely visible. While someone less sensitive might miss it, it is definitely visible to the naked eye if you are sensitive to color accuracy.

I reached out to XGIMI support, but their response was: "This is a normal optical characteristic when anti-RBE is turned ON, so it is not a defect and cannot be exchanged."

I find this explanation unacceptable. I’ve been using various projector brands for over 10 years and have never experienced an issue like this. If XGIMI claims this isn't a defect, then to me, every unit affected this way is defective. Having skin tones?the most common element in video content?distorted in a specific brightness range when a key feature is ON feels like a design flaw, not a normal characteristic.

I’d really appreciate it if fellow TITAN Noir owners could help me verify this:

Could you please download the image from the link above, play it in full screen with anti-RBE turned ON, and check if the issue occurs? Whether it shows up or not, sharing a picture of your screen would be extremely helpful.

I want to know whether this is an isolated defect on my specific unit or a widespread design flaw affecting the entire TITAN Noir lineup.

Thank you so much for your help!

If you’ve received your XGIMI TITAN Noir Max, I highly recommend running this quick test!

First, keep all other settings at default and turn ON the anti-RBE feature (which helps reduce rainbow effects for better eye comfort). Set the intensity level to "Enhanced" (or High), and view the image below in full screen:

If the image displays normally, your unit is working fine. However, if it looks distorted like the image below, I advise you to contact XGIMI customer support immediately to request a resolution:

[Symptom Description] This issue causes magenta and green color bleeding in certain bright tone ranges. On affected units, the symptom becomes much more noticeable when anti-RBE is set to "Standard" or "Enhanced", though subtle artifacts may still appear even when turned OFF.

If you use Adobe Photoshop, you can easily test this by double-clicking the color box to open the Color Picker. As you move the color slider up and down, affected units will clearly show distinct lines of magenta and green within specific brightness bands.

If your unit has the same issue, please test it out and make sure to get it resolved!
