ok theres nothing more to this post but am just really excited and happy i’ve finally started processing after 8 months of talk therapy and wanted to share it :)

my therapist and i just completed stage 2 and 3 of emdr and during the session i kept flipping laughing out of nowhere. does this happen to anyone else? it’s not that i find anything funny, i’m just uncomfortable and that’s how my body is choosing to cope. i completely understand why, but it just feels really inappropriate in the moment especially given the topic 💀
