Does this count as clear line of sight for Device or Building Bridge?

Trying to figureYd out how to connect the boathouse (circled in red) to the main house. I've done Unifi installs before, but have not used DB or BB products before. Distance is about 70 yards. Owner previously had used an EnGenius 802.11ac link.

Thinking through IT setup for parents

In a few weeks my parents are moving out of my childhood home and into a retirement community. They will have their own house - single story, 2 bedroom, everything handicap accessible, services taken care of - which is great. I'm looking to gift them a no hassle home internet setup that I can remotely manage in conjunction with own existing home Unifi setup.

Based on some previous discussions, it seems the Express 7 is the right way to go if they don't want cameras, and UDR if they do. Given the size of the place, I don't think I'd need to add a second AP but either way that's doable.

Bigger question - is setting up separate secure, IOT, and guest VLANs overkill? It's what I do for my own network, and while I don't think they're going to have a ton of IOT, I think it might be worth doing. And perhaps even putting their own devices on the guest network, given they are more likely to get hacked/infected.

I think the only downside to having their own devices on the guest network is that they would not be able to control the router or anything on the secure/IOT networks, right? So all that would fall on me to manage?

They are also fully into the iOS ecosystem, so I was thinking of using QR codes to get all their devices on the network.

Anything else I'm missing or should think about?

Need Help Planning Red Wizard Counterattack

Party has been in Omu for some time and have most of the cubes, including the one from Ras Nsi (they incited a civil war in the Fane and it's all wiped out). The party just exited the Fane and are tracking down the remaining cubes before going into the Tomb. They've also already encountered the Red Wizards and killed all of the henchmen and one RW (the conjurer), losing one of the party in the process. So i's pretty obvious that there's going to be a final showdown between the remaining Red Wizards and the party before they enter the Tomb. Both sides are going to be out for blood.

The challenge is how to do it in a way that's realistic and challenging but not a guaranteed death sentence. Because I'm pretty sure that is what would happen if the RWs contacted Valindra and she showed up with reinforcements and just overpowered them.

So maybe Zagmira is so embarrassed they've gotten kicked around by both the Yuan-ti and the PCs that she wants to try and rectify the situation before telling Valindra? And since the party is doing a good job gathering puzzle cubes, her plan is to wait until they have them all, then ambush them and take all the cubes so she can report back success?

Ideas on how to make that a cool and memorable fight? My party has a predilection to polymorph into T-Rexs, but we've already had the king kong fight when they took on Ras Nsi.

Are sherpas bugged? Or do I just not understand them?

https://preview.redd.it/vmc8c8zc3w5h1.jpg?width=1219&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c2421ea6c722b5966962d36f11c9e66b04b74548

First time playing as Nepal and using power stations. They're cool, but I can't figure out what the rules are for building them. You can see here in this chain of mountains I've built two already but it's not letting me build one on the third, nor does it or any others show up as buildable. But I think they should be, yes?

I have also noticed that sometimes they won't show up as buildable, and then a few turns later they do. Is there a timer in between uses? Or a limit per city or civ?

EDIT: Solved. They added a cooldown timer for the action (once every 3 turns at the time of this posting). If you stand on an eligible tile and hover over the action, it will tell you how many turns remaining.

What's the optimal strategy for specialist slots and overbuilding in later ages

https://preview.redd.it/b3xcgtlkzv5h1.jpg?width=3440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2a32bb5b6232ff5b3c28c75d60a45e0d4df1fa96

This is in the modern age, and as you can see I've already got all the city tiles full and several specialists in place. Most of the open places to add new specialists will actually reduce yields, because they are going into legacy buildings that have not yet been overbuilt.

So what's the recommended strategy here? Should you prioritize overbuilding the ones with open specialist slots or the ones with existing specialists?

Should you overbuild with the same type of building (i.e. science over science, or culture over culture), even if the yields would be better elsewhere in the city due to shifted resources or other adjacencies?
