How to set up a lamp correctly

We ve bought a lamp for rex, but I don't know how to set it up, so that he doesn't burn himself (he pokes his nose to the ceiling). Inside, the net itself is 32.7 but outside it is 47. It seems strange to me, how the net takes 15 degrees, I don't really believe the thermometer. I don't know what it is made of.

Can somebody please explain that to me?

Is there something wrong on her head?

We found her a week ago after her escape. I don't remember those when I ve found her, but maybe I didn't notice them....

Lumi keeps escaping

Hello

Lumi has run away from her tank again. We think she is too small for it for now, so we moved her to the plastic box (of shame)

Is there any chance she can escape it too? How should we make some better ventilation?

We love her so much and don't want to lose again :(

Don't mind the flour, we were searching her trails with that

A new lamp for Rex

Just bought a lamp for Rex as some oh users here advised. Hope humidity will go down eventually...

Any other advice on how I should be using it? Can it be dangerous? Should I turn it off at night?

Lumi has escaped

My baby has just run away at night. I don't know what to do, it a my fault and I hate myself. But my self torturing is not helping her.

Are the any strategies of snake searching?? Is it able that she s somewhere out of the flat?

Edit: I FOUND HER. She was in the curtains, and looked very awkward when i found her

Should I go to the doctor immediately?

Rex is making strange sniffs while I am holding him. Not every time he breathes, but aroumd once a minute, and he might be breathing heavily (but I'm not sure, so see the video), which he doesn't usually do. He can breathe heavily after active crawling and digging, or when he is spooked, though. His nose looks clean, he doesn't wheeze when he breathes, eats as usual and is active. I notoced no other symptoms that are usually mentioned online (his mouth is closed, he is active and curious, no bubbles around his nostrils). Is he okay, and what else should i look for to know if he's sick?

I want to take him to a doctor next week, i can't go sooner because of my exams. What does the doctor usually do in such cases and what should i tell them? Should i make time and go as soon as possible, or is it not an urgent situation?

Is he okay? :(

Sometimes Rex gets a little too active. He climbs up the wall, crawls around quickly and strarts digging but changes his mind almost immediately. He does that for a cpuple hours and then goes to sleep for the rest of the day. Hes been like that since i got him, he eats well and his enclosuder is 22c° on the cold spot and 29-30° on the warm spot. Could he be bored and should we add something so he can climb upwards, maybe a stick or some tall decoration?

How to lower humidity in the tank?

I have a dehumidifier, but my apartment is very humid as it is and it doesn't really help. The humidity is usually at 65-70%, but can get higher and it worries me a lot. Any advice welcome 🙏😭

How old do you think Rex can be?

Hi, this is Rex, little hog from the petstore. I didn't ask about his age, so i don't know how old he is. I've had him for around two months now, he weighs around 30 grams and he is around 35cm long. He eats a fuzzy once a week. Any guesses?

Why does Rex like the Vessel!

We put this bowl in his tank for decoration, and he fell in love with it. He sits in it most of the time and ignores other hides even the warm one. He is avtive, he eats, and looks fine (i think?). Does he just like this bowl (THE VESSEL)?

Okay, i thought it was time to size up, but i guess it's not. She's scared of fuzzies

Should i give her two pinkies instead?

Just sharing. Rex is eating and feeling good. He is very active at day time, and funny to watch. Also he ate his first meal with me (is size okey btw??). I was worried that he wouldn't eat as he ate live at the shop, but he did it without any hesitation 😁
