I left perishable manager to become grocery manager and let me tell you best decision ever perishable is a total shitshow and honestly I should’ve been paid more. Grocery is not bad at all as long as you have a proficient lead stocker. I do struggle with the schedule of closing which is not too bad but it does pull you away from the priority of grocery but all in all I’m satisfied. Can’t believe how much of a headache perishable is vs grocery I was totally wrong.

What’s the best way to transfer to another store? If I’m currently full time do I step down to part time give them time to find my replacement? Then put a 2 weeks in or find another position at another store apply and talk to manager and go from there.
