Do earrings come with a “till loss do us part” policy?
Never had jewelry insurance before so sorry if this is an obvious question. I have a pair of earrings that are worth a decent amount and I'm thinking about insuring them but something kind of random crossed my mind lol. Say I lose just one earring, how does that actually work with insurance? Do they pay to replace the one, have someone remake it to match or consider the whole pair a loss? They're an older pair so I imagine finding an exact match wouldn't be that easy. I have a few other pieces I'm planning to insure too but I'm mostly worried about the earrings because they mean a lot to me. Would love to hear from anyone who's actually dealt with losing just one from a pair and how their insurer handled it.
