Base builder module for Twilight: 2000

We've been working on a Base Builder module for Twilight: 2000 in Foundry VTT and are finally launching it today on DrivethruRPG.

https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/567763/base-builder-for-twilight-2000

I always felt Base building and upkeep management were fiddly online, so I made a module to automate most of the process.

The module also includes a time and shift hud customized to the Twilight: 2000 system, to better keep track of building projects and automate when they are completed and for how long the workers are tied up in their projects. The time hud also changes lighting effects to the current battlemap in relation to the current time of day.

New Flairs, New Orders!

Listen up, Maggots!

By popular demand, this subreddit has been issued a fresh set of post flairs, and you are expected to use them properly.

Boot Camp - Tips and questions for beginners.
Field Manual - Rules, scenarios and supplement discussions.
Recruitment - Find players, GMs, and new units.
Frontline Art - Art, maps, handouts, and visual intel.
Mission Debriefing - Session reports and campaign updates.
VTT Command - Foundry, Roll20, Discord, and digital ops.
War Studies - Recon, military tactics, strategy and historical warfare

Keep your posts organized, tag them correctly, and don’t make the mods clean up your mess.

If you have opinions about the naming scheme or requests for additional flairs, either keep them to yourself or post a well-formed comment in this thread like a functioning member of the unit.

Dismissed!

What are your most important modules for running Twilight: 2000 over Foundry VTT?

I'll start with my own goto modules.

Any favourite I missed?

Official T2k

  • Twilight: 2000 4th Edition - Core Set
  • Twilight: 2000 4th Edition - Urban Operations
  • Twilight: 2000 4th Edition - Hostile Waters
  • Year Zero Engine Combat

Generic

  • Dice so Nice (animated 3D dice, with support for T2k custom dice)
  • Dice Tray (dice icons for quick roll next to the chat)
  • Chat Portrait (presents the character portrait next to each chat message)
  • Token Ease increase the speed of dragging your tokens.
  • Sync Token Actor (automatically sets the same name for tokens as the actor).
  • PnP - Pointer and Pings! (Hotkey to show giant pointer and ping a location)
  • Stream View (add a clean view for a dedicated Stream account, without toolbars and menus, that automatically follows the player movement. Great for an automated streaming or recording view. Requires you to hack away the max version number however)

Battlemap

  • Universal Battlemap Importer (to import universal battlemap format)
  • Monk's Active Tile Triggers (trigger stuff on tiles)
  • Gambit's FX Master (animations, particle effects and filters on the battlemaps)

Combat

  • Argon - Combat HUD (CORE) (Adds a combat toolbar)
  • Argon - Combat HUD (TWILIGHT: 2000) (Customizes the toolbar for T2k)
  • Splatter (spray blood onto the battlefield upon hit and leave blood trails when wounded. Unfortunately broken in latest Foundry, so will now only trigger manually)
  • Automated Animations (trigger gun sound and bullet animation upong attack)
  • Twilight Weapons (shamelss plug)

Interactivity

  • Ambient Doors (more door options)
  • Item Piles (drop items onto the battlemap that will become lootable when the player actors are next to them. Also adds option to make dead bodies loot piles and trade ability. Overall great module!)
  • Item Piles: T2k4e (makes it work with T2k)
  • NPC Generator T2k (shameless plug for my NPC generator)
  • Master Loot (shameless plug for my scounging module)

Date/Time

There are several options here like Simple Calendar, Smalltime etc, that also automatically controls the light level on the battlemaps, but I found them all rather wonky, and not really dedicated to T2k, since I need good stretch support and feedback on Home Base progress, so I've been working on my own solution here as well.

What are your own goto Foundry modules?
