What if all crime investigators had a PhD in Math(s)?

Would it increase the amount of solved crimes? Or would it have minimal effect? Would the understanding of probability and statistics help?

Why can't I see more Angle backend options in my chrome flags?

So my games always were choppy when running YouTube on my second monitor, so I started troubleshooting it.

I started with switching chrome to my Ryzen iGPU while I played on my regular NVIDIA GPU. That didn't help, so I investigated which Angle backend I have enabled in my chrome flags and it turned out it was D3D11 WARP, which as far as I understand is a software backend.

I opened the dropdown and the only options I see are D3D11 and D3D11 WARP. I swear there used to be more there (including OpenGL).

The problem is, when I choose D3D11 my chrome has random lag spikes, HDR basically breaks videos and turns them to oversaturated orange mess.

Is there a reason I can only choose these two?

Sorry if I did something wrong, I rarely change settings for Chrome.

Simulation / Sandbox games with tons of systems / depth

I am a very systems sandbox type gamer. I am looking for something that has pretty advanced simulation of different types of systems. Some crazy physics simulations like in Stationeers are definitely my favorite. I wish that game had the possibility of creating custom vehicles as well at that level of simulation.

Here's a list of my preferences, or at least those that immediately come to mind:

Love:
Rimworld,
Stationeers,
Kerbal Space Program
Factorio
Project Zomboid,
Cities Skylines,
Cities: Skylines II,
Transport Fever,
Nimby Rails,
SimCity series,
The Sims series,
Software Inc.,
Project Hospital (got boring mid/endgame, but still was very fun)
Distant Worlds 2
Prison Architect

Okay, but nothing special:
Captain of Industry

Should, but doesn't scratch the itch:
Dyson Sphere Program,
Satisfactory,
Shadow Empire
Mars First Logistics

Mid:
OpenTTD
Space Engineers (dated way of interacting, blocky creations and SE 2 is still early access),
Terra Invicta (complexity is fine but it's so god damn slow for anything to happen and early mistakes can cost you the game, terrible for beginners)

Didn't like:
Wticher 3,
Terraria
Minecraft
Driving games,
RDR,
Souls games
Rouglikes
Racing games,
Avorion

I'd appreciate any suggestions if anything comes to your mind.

What budget electric guitar would you recommend?

Last time I played was probably around 15-12 years ago and recently picked up more music production, so I am thinking of getting a couple instruments to either sample or play for fun on the side. What budget electric guitar would you recommend for someone looking for okay technical parameters and nothing special? I have a lot of mixing and mastering experience so I can also correct for some issues. I don't plan on playing live ever, at most just recording.

Please help, I am severely exhausted by living

35M, 175cm, 120kg

Taking: Methylphenidate 20mg CR + 10mg IR for ADHD

Alcohol: Once a few months

Smoking: Vaping

I'm sorry for this post, but I don't know what to do anymore. I feel absolutely zero energy in life right now. All I want to do is watch YouTube. Me and my doctors obviously suspected my obesity, but there are two problems with dealing with it.

First, in order to fix obesity I need to have the energy to do so. Recently I've been spending nearly $2k a month on doordash because I can't convince myself to prepare any food. Whenever I think about meal prepping I immediately feel like it's some sort of monumental task. It feels like preparing for a 12 hour shift of hard, manual labor.

Second, I did lose around 15kg at the beginning of the year and honestly there was no difference. I know, that might not be enough to feel a difference, but I feel physically able, I have high stamina. I even used to do fighting sports while being very obese, including 15 min intense sparring sessions. I just don't have any mental energy to do anything. In fact, I stopped boxing because it was too much work to take an uber to go practice.

I would also love to lift weights again but the thought of trying to move my equipment from my parents' apartment is immediately discouraging me from it.

I genuinely hate this.

I can't spend time with friends, because every time I have something planned I hate the feeling of having that obligation. I hate having something scheduled for later, because I feel like I can't start anything while anticipating it. I crave time alone without any contact because of this. The thought of not having "unlimited time to do something" is making me not do anything that day.

I even get into the shower with headphones on because the thought of having to do something without some sort of entertainment in the background feels like work.

I have tons of hobbies but I can't start anything anymore. I am a software engineer and I love coding for fun, I love electronics engineering, making music, building things... but I just can't start anything, because I have this feeling of "I will use up my time off". During a regular work week I often feel like doing anything I love would eat up the free time I could use to "rest" after work. And my work isn't difficult at all, there's nothing really to rest from.

It feels like I wish I lived in a self-sustaining bubble and I could just do my own thing without having to ever interact with anybody.

I tried figuring out what's wrong for the past few years. I talked to many psychiatrists, endocrynologists, psychologists, psychotherapists, tried ADHD meds (which kinda help with general energy, but not with willingness to do any work or chores) and they always come back to me with that one sentence that haunts me:

"Maybe you're just built like that". As in, that it's just part of my character to be like that. This sentiment has been given to me multiple times by my psychiatrists, psychotherapists, endocrinologists... well I guess I hate being built like that...

My labs were mostly normal, with high cholesterol, non diabetic, at least not yet, thyroid hormones normal, thyroid ultrasound normal, even my blood pressure is surprisingly normal.

I feel like crying right now. I'm just so drained.
