long story short, but I’m tiling over a hideous black granite fireplace, and I’d like to skip the standard surface prep, since the thing is already framed in with a new fireplace mantle. are there any epoxies that can be used here?

Looking for pics of tools you think are simply beautiful to look at, so I can make a list to thirst over and, probably, slip into when drinking and browsing on ebay.
