Had My First Skate Today in the New Set and Wish I Would have Upgraded Years Ago
Replaced my old Vaughn V4 pads and V6 gloves with this True Nitro set that finally arrived this week and holy cow, what a difference!
I was nervous about how the transition would go to something modern but boy was I wrong. This new gear feels amazing. First step on the ice and I swear I felt 20 lbs lighter! Sliding is almost effortless compared to my old pads and the switch to a much stiffer pad wasn't really as dramatic as I thought. Loving everything about it so far.
