Vampire Bat Dog

Vampire Bat Dog

Marked NSFW because I know some people don't like blood.

IIRC unknowingly to us (this was back somewhere 2012 - 2014ish) she'd got a tiny slice on her tongue, but then carried on obsessively chasing that ball around for 15 - 20 mins while we were doing daily chores in the stables; so we found... this.

Glad it wasn't in a public park. Can almost see and hear in the busybodies disapproval and me trying the clichéd "she's friendly" response... (For the record, she absolutely was, made a positive impression on basically every she met during her entire life)

Play Times With My Two Staffapotami Cross Girlies

First is my soul-dog Sparkle from when she was young.

Second is with my current girly-girl dog, Ruby.

Both the videos are of just typical, normal play times, not super hyper zoomie times.

Sparkle was a Staffapotamus X Bullmastiff (and definitely had no, absolutely none, nope, Pitbull in the mix lol)

Ruby is Staff X (Collie X Lercher)

Just Finished My First Watch Through and...

I'm seriously considering, no, *I am* (after a little ovarying up following desperately, disappointedly, hunting to see if there was any spin-off series to be found after lifting my self imposed search embargo to avoid spoilers) going to start my first rewatch, immediately, literally, right now, at 3.11am.

I'm fairly hardcore at binges of series I enjoy, but even for me, this is counts as a completely unique compliment Straight up the best, most entertaining and fun, show I've ever watched.

I. Loved. It. Can't think of anything to add.

4th Generation Porcellio Scaber colony feeding time.

Not the best quality video as I filmed it on my phone and had to try and focus through dirt and scale on the terrarium glass, but managed to get some of the best feeding videos I've managed to get so far.

Plus, having kept this colony going for over multiple years now without it collapsing, I just felt like it was time to share. I feel like I've finally cracked the code of keeping them indefinitely.

They have mined out the substrate into a warren of tunnels and also eaten similar structures into the bark, so I couldn't even begin to estimate how many are in there; but the rate they get through food makes me think there could well be hundreds or even thousands - but I rarely disturb the key elements of their habitat enough to try and count.

I keep the population from growing exponentially out of control switching some of the pieces of bark out to my tarantula and snake tanks, where they act as environmental custodians (and do a very good job in all aspects required)

[Re: Title, I meant 4th+, I've seen at least that many cycles start from 'birth' to full adult, plus intermediates]

What's happening near the ring road bridge over the Thames?

My friend just drove past and said she saw loads of emergency services, and what looked like them taking away a body / bodies but she was driving so couldn't be too sure.

Ruby likes Music

Having a sort out with some music on, apparently this particular song is actually her wolf ancestors calling to her, or something.

Never even seen her howl once before, let alone continuously like she was doing =)
