Im (25,m) travelling with my 54 year old mother to portugal in mid October. The original plan was to spend an extended time in Lisbon, taking day trips to cascais, sintra and obidos/ fatima. I have heard a lot about how beautiful Lagos is and I was considering cutting our time in lisbon short to take the train down to lagos, giving us a day and half to two days of exploring there before we would have to go back to Faro to catch a plane to Porto. Is this worth it? My main concern is my mother would become fatigued with the extra travelling/ flying. Please advise!
