What are some affordable but decent dry cat food options?

My female cat is about to be 4 years old. For the last 2–3 years, she’s only eaten Pamper wet cat food, around 2–3 packets a day. I’d like to introduce some dry food to help bring down the monthly food cost, but I still want to make sure she’s getting something decent.

When she was younger (around 1–2 years old), she used to eat Catmor and Epol along with her wet food, but I’ve read quite a few concerns about those foods, so I’d rather not go back to them.

I’m now looking at options like Pamper dry food, but I’m wondering if there are better options that are still affordable.

For anyone who has switched a cat from mostly/all wet food to dry food, how did you get them to accept it?

Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Would anyone with an Ancestry subscription be willing to help me view a record?

I've been trying to trace my great-grandfather, James Henry Faure, but I've been struggling to find any information about his early life.

Family stories say that he emigrated from England to Cape Town, South Africa. The only official document I've ever been able to obtain is his marriage certificate, which states that he was born around 1915 and that he worked as a fisherman.

He later moved to Durban, where he lived for the rest of his life and eventually passed away.

I've found what appears to be one immigration record on Ancestry, but I don't have a subscription to view it. I was wondering if anyone with access would be willing to take a look and let me know what it says, or send me a screenshot if possible, please.

This has been a family mystery for a long time, and I'd be incredibly grateful for any help or advice.

Can someone please restore this family photo?

Hi everyone. This is the only photo I have of my mom while she was pregnant with me.

Some fluid spilled on the photo, and when it was cleaned off it changed my dad's face, especially under his eyes. I've added reference photos from around the same time to show how they actually looked.

I would really appreciate any help restoring it. Thank you so much.

Hey everyone,

I need to drive through Halt Road and Maitland tomorrow, so I'm just trying to figure out what to expect with the March and March protests.

Does anyone have an idea which areas are likely to be busiest or see disruptions? Are people expecting road closures or shops to shut, or is it more of a wait-and-see situation?
