I dont have a ton of proof, but i genuinely think daegun is just a loser that happened to be a fighting prodigy.

Hes literally a bone head, and easily manipulated by everyone, he dosent think before he acts and he even did the same stuff as an adult.

When people try to tell him what do even though its good and bad he rejects it both and only cares about being above everyone.

Even in his adult life, he defeats suhyeok and doesn’t give a damn about the system suhyeok is telling him thats in place, then leaves the school and the other schools gang up on geumryong and daegun only comes back when everyone is beat up.

I mean, he also runs from girls and literally pushes them away and couldn’t care less about their feelings. When suzy was kidnapped he deadass said “get off my phone and call your brother” 😭

And in the flashback (this season) its even worse lol

(18M) i posted in r/college but they took it down.

My first semester was horrible. I finished with around a 0.66 GPA, got three or four D’s, and failed one class. I was able to come back for a second semester, but that wasn’t much better either. I ended the semester with two C’s and one F. By the end of this semester, I’ll probably only be at around a 0.83 GPA when I need at least a 2.0 minimum.

I keep telling myself that my credits still add up and eventually I’ll leave, so I try not to feel bad about losing my only grant and failing classes, but honestly I think I’ve already given up.

Outside of school, my home life and overall situation make everything harder. I work two jobs and basically work every day, including weekends. I take the bus to school every day, stay there studying or doing homework & study at home until I can barely keep my eyes open, then go to work during the week while trying to do schoolwork there too.

At home, the motivation feels fake. When my grades are good, my mom says she’s proud of me, but when they drop she calls me names and starts making me pay rent and other bills. She also used my refund checks for a court case and bills she needed to pay, so now I’m working even more trying to save for a car while attending a college I was basically forced into by my mom because it was supposed to guarantee a career.

I know some people will probably say those are excuses, and maybe they are, but it’s honestly where I’m at right now.

Now I’m taking summer classes to try and recover my GPA, but I’ll probably get dropped from EOF because of my grades and end up paying out of pocket for classes too.
