Foreigner looking into attending Indonesia Medical School

Hi everyone. I am a student currently studying biochemistry in Singapore but I want to pursue medical school somewhere in Southeast Asia. Out of all the countries in ASEAN, I heard that Indonesia allows foreigners to do attachment and clerkship after med school.

I have been to Indonesia about 5 times (to Jakarta) and I like the environment/culture and I feel like the language doesn’t seem that hard for me to study up on. But my main concern is that, even though I would be learning Indonesian language, I would need to study in an English taught program and some of the programs have 25 years old as an age limit. By the time I apply, I would be around 25-26 so it’s a bit risky. I am also not sure about the job aspects for a foreigner in Indonesia if the foreigner is a local medical graduate and is able to converse in an intermediate level. Is there anyone who can enlighten me about the job searching process after university and if I can even find a job if I don’t have any connections in the medical field as a foreigner.

Sorry I didn’t have enough karma points to post this in r/indonesia
