I'm just wondering what is more realistic and pairs better with medical coding? Would it be medical billing or medical assiting? Is there anyone that has been able to do both at the same time? I'm just trying to build a stable path for the next five years..
For the parents that are sharing joint custody in California, do you receive/pay child support? Is this because the court decided it was the best decision or did the other parent ask for it?

I'm currently going through a divorce, my ex has been stalling for three years to hand over his preliminary.We are both self represented. We both waived each other's final disclosures but i can not continue with the divorce because I haven't received his preliminary. I spoke to my local family law facilitator and they said I have two options, first is to waive my rights. Wouldn't that mean im agreeing to talk half of his debt? Second option is to ask the judge to give him a deadline to file, im just not sure he will do it. I want to avoid a discovery/trial. So far I have only received his response, he isn't disclosing any income, he didn't list any assets. I am not asking for spousal or child support even though I was a stay at home mom. I just want to get this over with. Can someone please explain what possible options I have?
I'm not sure how to proceed with my divorce case. I opened a case and served him a preliminary. He responded without a preliminary and listed all his personal debt as community property. Now that was the last move he has made regarding the divorce, he isn't disclosing anything financially. Now that some time has passed I think he wants me to waive his preliminary, wouldn't that mean that i'm agreeing to talk half of his debt? What other options do i have here, without expecting his cooperation and also avoiding discovery/trial? The good news is that we both waived final disclosures. Last thing his response was three years ago, he is clearly stalling!!
Can I write my own cease and desist letter and mail it to my soon to be ex husband? I just want a paper trail in case I have to sue him or third parties. It is a long story my ex shared my personal information with others, and I want to send him the letter as a warning, I just want to make sure that it isn't going to backfire on me. We both are self represented and I just really want a paper trail, he is basically cornering me and there are a lot of events that led up to this but unfortunately I do not have consistent evidence.
