Does it look better?

158
Does it look better if I take Mike holts classes, I already took osha 10 and 1st aid. Second interview is scheduled for September but I’m going out on a limb saying it’s going to take another as I don’t have any letters of recommendation

Travel as a CW?

Hello I am currently waiting on my name to be called for the apprenticeship and working a prefab shop, local 158, but I want a change and thought about traveling to 494 for data center work, is this a possible thing?

Impatient

I know I’m just impatient but I applied for both VDV and JIW apprenticeships thru 158 and all my local tells me it I’m outside of the top ten for JIW and inside top ten for VDV, I’m hoping with data center proposals that they will want to bring on more apprenticeships but I’m still uncertain. Right now they have me placed as a CW but I absolutely hate where I am right now, do I drag up or ask for a transfer or just wait it out?

Drag up as a CW?

How do I drag up as a CW, I got placed in metal fab shop and I want to actually be on a jobsite doing electrical work instead of cleaning and grinding all day. 158. I took interview last Wednesday waiting on results. Both inside and teledata.

Context local 158, cw still in high school, going to graduate on the 20th. Interview on the 6th.

What do I need to bring?

How do I need to prep?

How long is it?

When do I find my ranking?

Is the contractor now going to call me or is it any in the union?
