Working EP Fail

Working EP Fail

For context. I returned to work last week and usually store my milk in storage bags, in the fridge. It’s a good system for me! But guess who totally forgot storage bags in a rush to get baby to daycare and get to work! Thank goodness for ziplock lol!

Do Not Disturb Signs at Work

Hiiii all! I return to work next week and wanna know what kind of signs we have for our office doors during a pumping break? I work in a college admissions office so I want it to be appropriate but I also am the only woman in my office so I want a little personality in the sign? Lolllll

Hi mamas! I am a FTM, 26 with a sweet 2 week old baby girl.

For context, our L&D experience was intenseeee and finally came to an end with a c-section that I had to be put under general anesthesia for. When I woke up from my c-section, my husband had already given baby girl formula with an artificial nipple (We had not previously discussed my feeding hopes and dreams with baby girl, and I was in no condition to try and latch her, obviously). When we finally had the opportunity to try and latch, she struggled, I struggled and so many tears between the two of us that I chose to EP.

I constantly feel this insane level of guilt that one day, when she’s older, she’ll think I didn’t love her enough to try and latch. Or that my breast milk isn’t doing all the amazing things breast milk is supposed to do (change based on her needs, sickness, etc.) because we don’t latch.

Just looking for some support and reassurance that we are going to be okay in the long run.
