Since I was 8 (I’m now 48) my favourite musical artists have been David Bowie as my favourite solo artist, and The Cure as my favourite band. Over the years I’ve seen (on the internet) a lot of crossover of people being a fan of both. Did David Bowie ever comment specifically on his opinion of The Cure? Was he a fan or listener? I could google this but I’m more interested in peoples feedback.
My boy loves watching TV and will guard us from anything he perceives as a threat!
This actor Xavier Samuel (in the movie Send Help) reminded me somewhat of Bowie, especially 80s Bowie. I could sort of imagine him in a biopic except for his nose is completely wrong. But considering they tweaked Jaafar Jackson’s nose in Michael to be more like MJ I could imagine him with a CGI “tweaked” nose passing for Bowie. Although I hate the idea of a biopic for Bowie in general I just thought I’d post this as a discussion point. I don’t think anyone could do him justice tbh.
