Play 3’s as fronts
Update on my test. Arc ultra, 2 Gen 3 subs, Era300’s as Rear
Tried my set up with play 3’s as fronts. Can’t say I loved it, especially for “regular” television, and sports and even most movies. Felt the plays were pulling out audio too far to the sides from the Arc.
Did NOT re-do TP a bunch of times or experiment with placing the fronts closer to the Arc Ultra because I am pretty much stuck with a width of about 6 ft for each Play 3 from the center of the Arc.
Too far? Could maybe get it 4.5 ft but furniture look would not be very good. May also try next with Era 100’s as fronts.
Thoughts?
PVP is 10 feet from Arc and about 10 ft from each Play3. Television is 77inch
