Bideshi here. I live abroad for over 25 years I've always considered Pokhara my home despite living abroad. A lot has changed since when I used to live here, and every time I come back something changes. I am thinking of taking a year long career break from the corporate world to reconnect with my hometown with a future prospect to buy a house.

Where would be a good place to look? I've always preferred quite neighborhoods and loved the fulbari area. Any recommendations and what are the affluent/ slum areas in Pokhara so I can get a rough idea.
