Hi,
My rear wiper motor stopped working, probably because water/snow got inside it.
I installed a new motor and tested it. I turned the ignition on, switched on the wipers, and the motor shaft was moving.
After mounting the motor in place and installing a new wiper arm, the motor stopped working. I removed it again to test it on its own, and now it doesn’t work at all.
Is it possible that I burned it out? I opened it up to check the gears and cleaned the contacts a bit, but it still doesn’t work.
It’s an old car, Skoda Octavia mk2 (2006).
