Hello, this is my first time posting here and I am fairly new to Games Art and right now I am in University studying said topic and a big part of it is portfolio pieces to help employment afterwards - since it’s currently break time between years I wanted to do some work to support my future and I wanted to ask what the ethics were around using someone’s 2D environments from websites like Pinterest and creating a 3D scene based on it and crediting the artist. I just wish to make sure if this is something that’s looked down upon as I don’t want to involve anything like that as part of my early work. Thank you
