Internal search results pages don’t have to be blocked anymore

Google says internal search result pages no longer have to be blocked (Source).

BUT, John Mueller recommends blocking them because they can waste crawl resources, slow servers, create low quality pages and be abused by spammers.

I sometimes see these pages ranking on Google from big brands like Amazon.

Do you block yours OR let Google index them?

Study: AI Overviews Are Not Just Removing “Low Quality” Clicks

A new study challenges Google's claim that AI Overviews mainly reduce "low-quality" clicks.

Google said the lost clicks were lower quality. But the study found those visitors were not much different from normal Google visitors.

So publishers may not be losing 'bad' traffic. They may just be losing traffic.

Anyone seeing this in their own data?

How I grew my community r/FaceOY

Hi! I wanted to share my experience of growing my newest community, r/FaceOY.

It's a subreddit about face reading. I started by adding an original banner and logo and then I created a few question posts at the beginning.

I also asked a few friends who are interested in face reading to create a few new topics of their own.

I also started inviting members from similar subreddits who might be interested in my community.

Discussion slowly started to appear and some people posted photos of their faces to find out more about their character. They received answers from other community members (most of whom are not professionals in face reading, but who posted their honest opinions).

The community started to grow very quickly, so I added more AutoMod rules to filter out spam comments, which took up a lot of time.

However, the AutoMod rules for filtering new accounts, low reputation and NFSW-related words helped a lot.

If you have any questions, I am here to help!

Do SEO leads generate the largest proportion of revenue for your projects OR is it something else (PPC, newsletters, etc.)?
